Home is at the centre of any child’s or young person’s life. Like any home, St Christopher’s feels safe, warmly welcoming, and is at once both comfortable and comforting.

We believe that the environment as a whole has an effect on a child’s wellbeing. The houses are all decorated with warm, natural colours and are light and airy. The children are encouraged to choose the decor for their own rooms, creating spaces that are genuinely theirs.

Each house has its own garden for the children to play in, and there are the wider grounds for them to enjoy.  Read about our Therapeutic Environment.
